I have the privilege of owning two of Carol MacLeod's original paintings. Carol's God-given talent has allowed her to capture one of our most memorable vacations on canvas. The other original painting we have on display in our home is a lighthouse from Michigan. Both of these paintings are sensational. Carol absolutely paints from her heart. Dear Carol,

Just a short note to let you know how much we have appreciated the beautiful painting of the Whitefish Point Lighthouse which you gave to us. We took it to the Frameworks in Plymouth, Mi. and had them do a special frame and matting job on it and we are so pleased with the overall look that it has. The Whitefish Point Lighthouse is our favorite one out of all the State of Michigan Lights

We spend a lot of time in Sault Saint Marie just watching the freighters as they pass through the Locks and follow them up to Whitefish Point or as they go through Neebish Island Channel on the way to Detroit and south to other ports.

We have had a number of our tax clients tell us that our picture is really great and we are very proud to have it hanging in the front lobby of our accounting office.

What a delight to view any of Carol MacLeod's lovely paintings! She is a great woman -- full of a zest for life and determination to be busy and productive. I have known her through her recent bout with cancer and she has been an inspiration to all those around her. Carol's talent and love for painting has definitely been a plateau in seeing her through this ordeal. Her dedication to family and friends is reflected in Carol's paintings through the moods set by her skillful use of colors.
